VIR has been awarded the Best Ball Valves and Balancing Valves Manufacturer for 2023 by MEA Markets UAE business awards.

VIR will soon exhibit at Aquatech in Shanghai, Asia’s largest international water trade show specialized in the fields of process, drinking and waste water. The event brings together the worlds of water technology and water management, aiming to present integrated solutions and alternative approaches to the water challenges that Asia and the entire world are facing. From June 5rd to 7th 2023, at the newly built National Exhibition and Convention Centre, VIR will be there to welcome visitors in Hall 6.2, Stand H5148. Looking forward to seeing you there!

At VIR we take care of the environment also by using modern and efficient machinery. In our plastics division, for example, we recently introduced two very high technology injection molding machines equipped with inverters, which allow us to halve our energy consumption.

Spring has arrived and VIR has the right solution for every gardening need: we design and manufacture a wide range of irrigation products, including polypropylene ball valves with lever or butterfly handles that guarantee excellent resistance to atmospheric agents and environmental pollutants. On May 17th and 18th, the National Mechanics Competition “Industria ed Artigianato per il Made in Italy” School Year 2022/2023 will be held at the IIS Cellini School in Florence. This competition is aimed at all students attending the 4th year of the Professional and Technical Institutes. The aim of the competition is to enhance excellence, verify knowledge skills, competences and professional levels achieved, as well as to exchange experiences between different socio-cultural realities. VIR is pleased to sponsor the participation of the most deserving student attending the IPSIA Technical Institute, Borgosesia, in this National Competition, as seen here with Ing. Savino Rizzio. It is an honour to be at the side of these young talents: pupils today, but professionals of tomorrow; we hope to welcome them into our staff soon!  

This check valve can be installed in both horizontal and vertical positions. It has a low opening pressure of 0.03 bar. The Kv values have been improved compared to the previously available model. Other important features are: – Threaded ISO 7/1 Rp; – Body and internal components in Brass (spring in stainless steel); – Optional stainless steel foot strainer available, – Horizontal and vertical installations; – Low opening pressure of 0.03 bar; – Improved Kv; – Available versions solder and press fit for the North American markets.
