Help us to support SOS Children’s Villages

This Christmas, VIR is supporting SOS Villaggi dei Bambini (at the International level SOS Children’s Villages) to ensure that the most vulnerable children have a family and a community environment where they can develop their full potential. SOS Children’s Villages was founded by Hermann Gmeiner, a young medical student who had witnessed firsthand the suffering of so many children orphaned after World War II. In 1949, he opened the first SOS Village in Imst, Tyrol-Austria; more than 70 years later, SOS Children’s Villages’ presence has grown to more than 130 countries and territories around the world.
In Italy, the Organization promotes the rights of over 39.000 children and young people and takes care of over 700 people, through 8 Programs and SOS Villages in Trento, Ostuni (Brindisi), Vicenza, Saronno (Varese), Mantua, Turin, Crotone and Milan.
Help us support children and their families to ensure every child’s right to grow up peacefully and healthy by donating at this link: https://www.sositalia.it/sostieni/donazioni
